Marlborough Travel is a fifth generation Marlburian family business specialising in land and water tours with a wide range of vehicles and vessels utilising their extensive local knowledge of scenic areas, fishing spots, golf courses and other activities of interest.
Marlborough Travel has been successfully operating for many years in the Marlborough region. Winner of the overall Air New Zealand Link regional tourism award and previous winner of two other regional awards reflect their commitment to excellence in providing the highest standard of professional service.
For water lovers they offer scenic cruises, wine and food cruises, lunch and dinner cruises, Mussel Farm tours, and fishing trips.
Their vessels service the Pelorus and Kenepuru and Queen Charlotte Sounds and they operate a range of certified touring vehicles in the greater Marlborough area. MV Odyssea is a well appointed 20 metre catamaran. MV Melaleuca is a 14.5 metre modern high speed launch, with all the modern conveniences of home. MV Spirit is a 14 metre catamaran is ideal for group cruises and water based transfers. MV Marlborough Travel is an 11.5 metre launch. MV Credence is an 8.5 metre sport fisher. MV Osprey is an 8.5 metre pontoon vessel ideal for fishing or a day cruising the Marlborough Sounds. For land based activities they offer scenic tours, farm tours, garden tours, arts tours, wine tours, wine and food experiences, food tours, and cooking demonstrations, and for the more active there is mountain biking, bush walks, horse riding and golf.
Chaffeur driven transfers to Picton Ferry Terminal, Blenheim Airport, Nelson and Christchurch are available as are day tours to Kaikoura for Whale Watching and Nelson for business or sightseeing. In addition to 10 seat vans, 20 seat coasters and 45 seat coaches they operate a Ford LTD and Mercedes S320. The Marlborough Sounds also offer world class Sea Kayaking and bush walks.
